FAQ

Do I need to feel confident or know how to pose before my session?

Not at all. Confidence is never required here. You are not expected to know how to pose, how to look, or how to feel. This experience is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Grace will gently guide you through every moment using thoughtful posing, intentional lighting, and calm direction. Many women leave their session feeling more confident than when they arrived, not because they were pushed, but because they were seen.

What if I feel nervous, awkward, or unsure about being photographed?

This is more common than you think, and you are very welcome here. The studio is a calm, private, judgment‑free space. Nothing is rushed, forced, or performative. Grace will move at your pace, check in often, and create an environment where you can soften into the experience rather than push through it. You do not need to be fearless. You only need to arrive.

What should I wear?

You are supported from the very beginning. Before your session, you will receive a detailed What to Wear Guide designed to help you choose pieces that feel comfortable, flattering, and true to you. During your session, Grace will also help guide outfit selection and styling so everything works beautifully together. You will never be asked to wear something that doesn’t feel right.

How many outfits can I bring?

Most sessions include three outfit or set changes. This allows for variety while keeping the experience relaxed and unhurried.

Is professional hair and makeup included?

Yes. Professional makeup and dry hair curling are included in your session fee. The approach is natural and enhancing, never heavy or unrecognizable. The goal is for you to still feel like yourself.

How long is the session and how does it flow?

Your portrait session lasts approximately 60–90 minutes and is fully guided.

The experience flows intentionally and without pressure, including time for outfit or set changes, gentle posing guidance, and moments to pause if needed. You are never rushed.

What happens after the session?

After your session, you will return for a private image reveal and ordering appointment. This is a calm, supportive time where you’ll view your images and choose what you’d like to preserve. There is no pressure and no obligation to decide in advance. Grace will guide you through options thoughtfully and at your pace.

How much do clients typically invest?

Your session fee is $850, which includes the full luxury portrait experience and one 8×10 fine art matted print. Portrait collections and products begin at $1,250, which includes 10 images presented in a 5×5 Little Black Book. Most clients choose to invest $3,000–$4,000 in their full experience, selecting artwork that feels meaningful, affirming, and worthy of their story.

Do I have to decide what I want to purchase before my session?

No. Nothing needs to be decided ahead of time. Your ordering appointment is designed to be unhurried, clear, and supportive, allowing you to choose what resonates once you’ve seen your images.

What types of products do you offer?

Grace Marie Studios offers curated, luxury products designed to become part of your legacy. Options include fine art prints, handcrafted albums, Little Black Books, and custom wall art. Each piece is designed with care and intention to be lived with, revisited, and cherished.

“To be honest I was nervous, I didn't expect to enjoy the photo shoot. The experience opened my eyes into Boudoir photography. Grace and her team made me feel sexy, beautiful, and empowered on the day of our session. From the first consultation, to outfit choices to excitdly waiting to choose the images, it was the best experience I've had hands down. I recommend every woman do this for herself and her partner”
